A toolyard of focused little utilities.
AppicLab gathers small web tools and curated collections — simple, fast, and free.
About AppicLab
AppicLab is a toolyard of small, single-purpose web utilities and curated collections. Each one lives on its own page and opens instantly. Everything is server-rendered and available in Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese. The current lineup covers seven tools across five categories: a FIRE retirement calculator with ETF strategy presets and Monte Carlo simulation, a WCAG 2.1 AA/AAA contrast checker with color-blindness simulation and auto-fix, a rent-vs-buy calculator with break-even analysis, a latte factor calculator, a Google-Maps-list-to-embed builder, a curated kaomoji explorer — plus a curated directory of public Google Maps saved lists, sorted by country, city, and theme. AppicLab is built and maintained by indigo.la.ringo; the inventory grows whenever a useful single-page utility or worth-saving collection is missing from the web.
Every tool runs entirely in your browser — no data you enter leaves your device, no account is required, and no ad network tracks your behavior. The approach is deliberately minimal: server-rendered HTML loads fast on any connection, client-side computation keeps your inputs private, and a single-tool-per-page structure means you get exactly what you came for without the noise. AppicLab is a work in progress, built in public; new tools are added when something genuinely useful is missing from the web.
